Konrad Malinowski MD, PhD · Orthopaedic Surgery · Arthroscopy · Sports Traumatology
A highly regarded orthopaedic and trauma surgeon recognized across Poland and Europe. Author of over 60 scientific publications and innovative surgical techniques. International lecturer, arthroscopy instructor, and founder of Artromedical.
Dedicated to minimally invasive joint surgery and sports traumatology
I earned my PhD in Medical Sciences by demonstrating the efficacy of an original endoscopic technique for the treatment of popliteal cysts. My knowledge and skills were shaped through clinical fellowships with some of the most distinguished orthopaedic surgeons in the world.
I am a member of the Polish Arthroscopy Society (serving on the Board of Directors during the 2017–2019 term) as well as the international societies ISAKOS, ESSKA, and AANA. For many years I have been conducting courses in arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery, committed to the education of the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.
Principal Research Areas
Popliteal Cyst
Original endoscopic treatment technique — from the doctoral thesis (2008) to a series of 97 cases with a low recurrence rate. The subject of over 15 years of continuous research.
External Snapping Hip
Original endoscopic "fan-like" technique — intraoperative identification of the cause and graduated release. Presented at ESSKA, AANA, and ISHA congresses.
ACL Reconstruction
Research on quadriceps tendon autograft (QTB), PRP application, and meta-analyses encompassing over 7,700 patients.
Selected Scientific Works
Fellowships with World-Renowned Specialists
19 clinical fellowships and training programmes at leading orthopaedic and sports medicine centres across 6 countries — the United States, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Denmark.
Medicine is an art, and what matters is not only skill but also a genuine rapport with the patient. The knowledge I continually deepen at leading medical centres in Poland and abroad allows me to tailor treatment to each individual.
I operate only on patients for whom surgery is truly necessary and when other treatment methods have been exhausted.
My mission extends beyond treatment. I am equally committed to injury prevention and helping people stay active at every stage of life.
