Knee Arthroscopy

Arthroscopic diagnosis and treatment of knee joint pathologies — meniscal tears, cruciate ligament injuries (ACL, PCL), articular cartilage lesions, loose bodies, and synovial plica. Arthroscopic procedures performed for over 20 years across a high volume of cases.

Knee Ligament Reconstruction

Reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), including quadriceps tendon autograft (QTB). Medial collateral ligament (MCL) reconstruction with anteromedial augmentation. Multiligament knee injury surgery. Posterolateral corner (PLC) reconstruction.

Meniscal Repair

All-inside repair techniques for medial and lateral menisci using non-absorbable sutures. A proprietary approach that maximizes repairability — broader indications than standard methods. Meniscal root repair.

Popliteal Cyst

Original endoscopic technique for popliteal (Baker's) cyst treatment — the subject of a doctoral thesis and years of dedicated research. Arthroscopic cystectomy with valve excision, complemented by treatment of intra-articular pathologies. One of the most extensive scientific contributions on this topic worldwide.

Hip Arthroscopy and Endoscopy

Arthroscopic and endoscopic treatment of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), labral tears, and loose bodies. Original "fan-like" endoscopic technique for external snapping hip. Fellowships with leading hip arthroscopy specialists (Moser, Lund, Guanche, Ribas, Buly).

Shoulder Surgery

Arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery — treatment of glenohumeral instability, rotator cuff reconstruction, acromioplasty, and distal clavicle resection. Trained under Prof. Burkhart and Dr. Castagna.

Ankle Arthroscopy

Diagnostic and therapeutic ankle arthroscopy. Anatomic arthroscopic repair of the anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL). Treatment of osteochondral lesions. Trained at the University of California Davis (UC Davis) under Prof. Giza.

Sports Traumatology

Diagnosis and management of sports injuries — from acute trauma to chronic instabilities. Application of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and biological augmentation methods. Extensive experience in the care of athletes.

Osteotomy and Limb Alignment Correction

Tibial osteotomy with preservation of medial stability (MCL reattachment technique). Lower limb deformity correction. Training in comprehensive deformity management under Dr. Teitge (Detroit, USA).

Articular Cartilage Treatment

Microfracture, reconstructive techniques, and treatment of osteochondral lesions. Early scientific collaboration with Alberto Gobbi — research on microfracture in athletes (published in Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, 2005).
